We’re going to Fisherman’s Wharf today and I thought I should clean up my pages before going. I didn’t label any of the shops specifically to locate inside Fisherman’s Wharf, but I think it’s a better idea to group them together.
I also realized that I’m missing the picture of the coin from After the Quake.
I’m flying out to CA to spend a few days with my family. Figuring that we’ll press more coins there, I wanted to organize all the unscanned coins lying around the table first.
These were pressed while driving back from Michigan:
New EC’s from Pennsylvania Turnpike Service Plaza Somerset, PA
These were pressed from Saratoga Springs during Christmas:
New EC’s from Impressions of Saratoga Saratoga Springs, NY
New EC’s from New York Thruway I-87 Travel Plaza Hannacroix, NY
The remaining coins from the Adirondacks trip:
New EC’s from New York Thruway I-87 Travel Plaza Sloatsburg, NY
These are purchased on eBay:
New EC’s from House of the Future Budapest, Hungary
New EC from Field Museum Chicago, IL
New EC from Chicago World’s Fair

I feel so bad for not updating the site for such a long time
I have piles of coins lying on my desk, just waiting to be scanned and I haven’t done anything for days.
Went snow shoeing with friends on MLK weekend. I thought there would be more coins around this area, since the Winter Olympics was held here twice, but we didn’t have time to look through all the shops.
New EC’s from High Peaks Gift Shop Lake Placid, NY

I got a box for backlog coins. Here are some that I cleared out today:
Replaced zinc coins with copper at Indiana Toll Road Travel Plaza Ernie Pyle Travel Plaza 7 Howe, IN
New EC’s from Museum of Discovery & Science Ft. Lauderdale, FL (traded with Sally back in August)

A few corrections were made on the previous entries, thanks to Paul’s information.
Here are the coins from the remainder of the trade, from Paul and Doug
New EC’s from Morehead Planetarium and Science Center Chapel Hill, NC
New EC’s from Marbles Kids Museum Raleigh, NC
New EC from Simonian Farms? Fresno, CA

New EC’s from Museum of Life and Science Durham, NC
New EC’s from NC Museum of History Raleigh, NC

Wishing everyone a smashing year!
I wanna give a big thanks here to Adam who helped me with my copper penny supplies!!
I pressed a few coins on the PA turnpike with the coins (the cat mint can comes in handy too). Hopefully I’ll get to scan in those coins soon.
While driving through the Ohio Turnpike, I’ve noticed that many of the service area machines have been replaced. Next weekend, I’ll try to get a more recent set of coins from the turnpike. In the meanwhile, the status for the old coins are marked “retired”.
Here are some trades with Paul from the end of 2008:
New EC’s from Museum of Life and Science Durham, NC
